Haste

the German word "einfuling" means .. "seeing" something and the feeling it evokes which stimulates the inner response to create an outer response.

the stark contrast of winter's yet bare trees
the spring beauty's on the low ground beneath our feet
rising out of the brown debris of the earth's mantle
what glory what bravery what message do they bring from
the moist underground where they have lain asleep ?

in their eagerness they forget that some of us have not yet managed
the emergence from the darkness just yet
we lay asleep still in our muddled theories of redemption and forgiveness

it will take a little more time for us
to shed to brush off the sticks and stones
the layers of needing shelter a bit longer

oh sun oh lover of light
bear with us a little longer your patience
do not push too hastely ... lest our leaves burn
in our eagerness to blossom
without the wisdom
the darkness can also bring.
